Blount County Property Tax is collected annually by the Trustee's Office. The Property Tax amount you pay is based on the value of your property (appraisal/assessment set by the County) combined with the tax rate that is set by the County each year.
The county has many historical sites, such as the Blount Mansion, which was the home of William Blount, and the Ramsey House, which is a pre-civil war plantation. The area also has many outdoor recreational opportunities such as hiking, fishing and boating in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
