According to the Collins Dictionary, "A theologian is someone who studies the nature of God, religion, and religious beliefs." Theologians are like intellectual guides. They help us explore and understand our beliefs about God.
Today we'll be looking at the ten most influential theologians. Note this list is not about the best, but instead about those who made the most significant changes to the thinking of the time and whose theories are still held as a staple in the faith.
For this blog post, I hope to highlight ten living theologians who should be household names to any student of the Word. In another post, I will speak to those greatest theologians who may no longer be living but should be read by every student.
