More than half of the 10 largest health systems in the U.S. (based on the number of patient discharges) are Catholic-owned or affiliated.

We assign a proprietary identifier to every player in the healthcare ecosystem, from hospitals and physicians to payors and GPOs, to map out industry relationships and inform growth strategies.

Calculated by subtracting patient discounts from total patient revenue, NPR can provide insight into the financial strength of a hospital. Below, we’ve listed the top 25 hospitals in Minnesota by net patient revenue in 2022. The data is sourced from Definitive Healthcare’s HospitalView product.
Using Definitive Healthcare’s HospitalView, we created a list of the largest IDNs in New York based on their number of affiliated hospitals. The data is aggregated from affiliated facilities based on data from the Medicare Cost Report and is based on the most recent 12-month interval tracked in our database.
