During this period, Loy saw Eleonora Duse in the play Thy Will Be Done, and the simple acting techniques she employed made such an impact on Loy that she tried to emulate them throughout her career.
Loy played opposite Henry Fonda (in one of his last roles before his death the following year) in a tender story of the relationship between an aging married couple.
Myrna Williams, later to become Myrna Loy, was born on in Helena, Montana. Her father was the youngest person ever elected to the Montana State legislature. Later on her family moved to Radersburg where she spent her youth on a cattle ranch.
Driving to the byeline, jinking in off the left, and also finding himself space in central areas, Loy described Moore's movement as "nothing short of sensational".
Dubbed the “Queen of Hollywood” during her heyday, Loy was often promoted by her studio as every man’s “dream wife.” Loy was the daughter of a rancher and moved to Los Angeles in 1918, working first as a dancer in a chorus line, then as a bit player in the 1925 production of Ben-Hur.
Myrna Loy ( – ) was an American actress. Trained as a dancer, she devoted herself fully to an acting career following a few minor roles in silent films.
LOY commonly stands for "lack of yuppies" or "lack of youth," and it refers to a perceived absence or shortage of young people or members of the younger generation in a particular context or environment.

A loy is an early Irish spade with a long heavy handle made of ash, a narrow steel plate on the face and a single footrest. The word loy comes from the Irish word láí (Old Irish láige, Proto-Celtic * laginā), which means "spade". [1]
Despite its association with toil and economic hardship, within a few years, the loy competition sprouted not only more contestants, but its own organization devoted to continuing the practice of loy digging in Ireland.
What is the etymology of the noun loy? loy is a borrowing from Irish. Etymons: Irish laighe.
It is as humbling and awe-inspiring as viewing the Milky Way to see the sky so thick with thousands of khom loy, which, once released, light up the dark clear night sky with an ethereal glow.
Meaning Loy refers to a traditional digging implement that is typically used in agriculture or gardening.
loy (plural loys) (Ireland) A type of one-eared spade used in Ireland.
Early loy blades were made of iron, making the tool very heavy; steel blades are more common now. Otherwise, the loy looks much the same today as it must have in antiquity.
