I had 2 Nula's and the last one I ordered was a year and a half wait. If you want one for the nostalgia of owning one then go for it, if you want one for a hunting rifle there are better rifles on the market for half the price. I wasn't overly impressed with the fit, finish and over all quality of the Nula's, it seems quality control is slipping.
Presently I have been taking a really hard look at the Wilson Combat, NULA model 21S rifles in .358 Winchester, coming in a little under or around 5 pounds. If your wanting to get one of the new Nula, Wilson Combat/ Wilson barrels/ Cooper Rifles. Yes all these companies joined together after the Covid bs, Because of the hard times everyone went through. Cooper still has there original shop and a shop in Alabama with Wilson Combat and they bought Nula off of Melvin Forbes before he passed away.

An update on my NULA 284 Winchester. Took a bighorn ram at 675 yards with it in September. Great little rifle and a really good cartridge. Would love some details on that. Bullet, load, scope, etc. My NULA .284 arrived last week. Just missed out on hunting season, so I have a lot of time to shoot it and work up loads for next year.
This season I carried my lefty NULA in 308 topped with a Leupold VX6HD Patrol in 1-6, since I still hunt and track on snow most of my shots are usually under a 100 yards and this buck was more like 40 yards, Good luck to anyone out there still hunting and be safe! -Jon Hill- My day started out like most, finding a good buck track to chase.
The velcoity you gain, mine are doing 3150 FPS out of a 21" NULA using 4895, WW brass and CCI mag primers. The extra velocity is a big advantage. If I shoot heavier bullets I used Hornady BT Interlocks in 150 or 180. Softer bullet expands better at distance, though the 150s are still leaving at 2950 fps.
